Being primarily a PC gamer, I didn’t have as much access to the Halo series as console players. But memories of what little did access I did have access to are dominated by the Assault Rifle. You get this weapon early in the game, and use it most of the way through. Not a terrible gun and definitely not a good gun. Its lack of weightiness and no real sense of hitting anything makes the game somehow exciting and wanting at the same time.
